Augustana presents several concerts by professional ensembles and soloists each year. Concerts that are
part of the Augustana Concert Series are presented to the community free of charge. Other concerts (listed at the right)
are held at Augustana throughout the year. For those performances there may be an admission charge.

Brahms: Symphony No. 2

There will be a reception with refreshments during the Intermission. The concert is free of charge; suggested donations of $15 accepted. Child care available during the concert.

Other Concerts at Augustana

East Metro Symphony Orchestra
Wednesday, May 20 at 3:00 pm

The East Metro Symphony Orchestra (EMSO) will present Svensk music och dans (Swedish Music and Dance), a cultural celebration of Swedish classical and folk music. Admission is free for this performance. Free will offerings in support of the orchestra’s work in the community are always appreciated.

A special encore performance will be presented on Wednesday, May 23 at 7:00 pm at the American Swedish Institute (ASI), 2600 Park Avenue, Minneapolis, MN. Encore concert tickets are available in advance online through the ASI’s website, www.asimn.org: $10 ASI members and $15 general admission. Admission to Wednesday’s concert will include access to the ASI museum before the concert begins.
