What I actually do at Augustana: I direct two bell choirs, one for adults and one for youth. We rehearse on Wednesday nights, and each choir performs approximately once a month in worship. I also serve in a volunteer capacity as coordinator of our partnership in Guatemala, leading yearly trips to visit our partner congregation, San Agustin.

Favorite Bible verses:
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life.”
I Peter 4:10 “Like good stewards of the manifold grace of God, serve one another with whatever gift each of you has received.”

When I’m not at Augustana, you can find me: gardening, reading, playing with my granddaughters, giving clarinet lessons, or doing something fun with my husband, John.

One more thing I’d like you to know: I taught Spanish in the South St. Paul Schools for 29 years, retiring in 2012.
