Come see how God is at work
in this faith community
Because there is no starting or stopping point between faith and life, we help you connect your faith with your everyday life and equip you to do God’s work in the world. We’re glad you’re visiting our website and hope to meet you soon.
Known for our Gospel-based preaching and music tradition, we offer a worship experience that challenges you to let your faith and core values guide how you show up in the world each day. Whether you prefer traditional or contemporary worship, you will find a place at Augustana.
Children are a vital part of our community and are warmly encouraged to attend worship services. We expect them to make noise and need to wiggle; they are growing in understanding and learning how to be part of the church family. Jesus himself said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of heaven belongs.” (Matthew 19:14). We have a Prayground in the Sanctuary to welcome younger children and their families. There is a soft rug, child size tables and chairs, cloth books, foam blocks, and other quiet , age-appropriate activities.
If your child needs more of a break from worship, a Family Lounge is available with parental supervision. Worship audio is available in the lounge.
We work hard to connect people in all phases of life to this dynamic Christian community. Whether you are new to the Christian faith or coming from a different religious background, a family with young children or retired, or anything in between, there is a place for you at Augustana. Visit our Grow and Connect section to learn more about our ministries and programming or visit our Act section to discover ways to get involved.
Are you new to the Augustana community? Are you interested in becoming a member? Join us for our upcoming class! This is an opportunity for you to meet other new members, learn more about the ministries of Augustana, learn how to get involved, study Lutheran theology, and get to know Deacon Stephanie and Pastor Jason.
Lunch will be provided as a part of our time together. The nursery will be open and available, but children are also welcome to attend the whole class.
