Care
Finding strength in Christ & from one another
Whether you need pastoral care, prayer for a life challenge, a friend to support you during a difficult time, or help with coping with anxiety, Augustana is here for you.
Walking with you as you experience life’s joys and challenges is one of the great privileges of a pastoral team. We visit people daily in the hospital or wherever the spiritual care, prayer, and presence of the church is needed.
Hospitals do not notify churches when their members are admitted so if you or a loved one are hospitalized, please complete a Connection Card on Sunday morning or contact the church office.
Whatever you are facing, you don’t need to face it alone. Augustana’s Care Ministries include prayer support, home communion and healing spaces.
We find strength in Christ and from one another. Our Support Ministries offer Befrienders, support groups for grief and memory loss, casseroles, baby blankets, and much more.
Promoting good health is our shared endeavor with God, just as caring for our neighbor’s health is an expression of Christian love and service.
